If you are a large woman, an obese woman, or a woman who struggles with bodily image,
you’ve just got to read:
My Cats Have Seen Me Naked: How I Resolved Self-Acceptance
and Bodily Issues While Obese
by Pat Matson, me.

I never once imagined in my entire lifetime that the book I always dreamed about writing would end up being this book. I began to write My Cats four years ago. I had a Coach who asked me “What are you going to do when you retire, Pat?” “Write that book I’ve always wanted to write,” was my immediate reply. “Twenty minutes a day starting right now,” he nudged. My Cats has a dedication in there for Pete Schneider, coach extraordinaire.
Initially, My Cats was to be my autobiography. The more I wrote, the more understanding I unfolded about this dang obesity. I decided that this voluptuous story should be divided into three sections, so that not only could you learn from my story itself, but you could also learn from some specific explanations in the first and last sections. Then, I decided you might need even more assistance, so I wrote you two workbooks to go along with My Cats.
My Cats may very well be too honest. I’ve been told by genuine friends that I open myself up and share way too many intimacies. Nobody ever has accused me of being proper. I think that being as open as I am is the only way to get to the truth. It’s surely not necessary for each of you to go as public as I have with those intimacies. But in order for you to make the kind of progress I have, to come to the kind of self-acceptance and self-love that I have without changing one ounce of my body’s weight, you’ve just got to tell yourself the truth. My Cats will help you get honest. And if you get honest, you’ll begin to love and accept yourself.
Inside My Cats Have Seen Me Naked are explanations about how life works from a mental basis.
Section One: Obesity’s Mental Cause explains how my obesity (and yours) was mentally caused. This short section could set your life to spinning with the delight of it’s candid revelation. You might find this first section a real eye-opener!
Section Two: Growing Up Fat is autobiographical. Not only is it my story, it’s an exposé about what I learned as I was living it. It ties into the mentalness of Section One, and it traces the cause of my obesity from a mental point of view about my life. I know you’ll identify with Little Patty and your own life.
And then Section Three: How To Use the Mental Laws will help you not only with your sense of Self due to your own bodily issues, but it will provide information about crafting a happier, healthier, wealthier life experience for yourself.

I discovered my true passion in my life is about helping you learn to love and accept yourself. My Cats, all of the other bookstore items and the Community are my efforts to share my understanding with you chubbettes out there.
I detest internet hype. You won’t find hype on this site. This site is about genuine help for large or obese women. I hope all you Big Girls out there will take heart, read the book, and then come back here and Join Our Community. I don’t think anyone else alive has the perspectives I’ve unfolded. It is my great privilege to pay them forward to you. I dream about making lots of new friends and of shifting the world’s paradigm because of your goodness.
After you’ve read the book, you can always email me your comments about it...
